Precious Tots Frequently asked questions

What are your opening times?

We open 8am – 6pm. Monday to Friday. We are open all year except bank holidays and Christmas.

Do you accept childcare vouchers?

Yes we accept all childcare vouchers.

Do you still pay for bank holidays and holidays?

Yes.

What is the settling in procedure & how long does it take for a child to settle?

We do have a settling in procedure which will be fully explained during your visit or after your placement is confirmed, the time it takes to settle can vary as every child is unique. However, the procedure is a full week settling in period.


Do we do Nursery Education Grant for 2, 3, & 4 yrs olds and how do we qualify / claim it?

When and how do I pay fees?

Fees are due each month in advance preferably by standing order. (ie 1st of each calendar month )

Can we swap days?

No. We are unable to offer swap days on a weekly basis. However if you wish to permanently swap days, this is conditional on availability.


What do they need to bring with them?

In general you will need to provide nappies, wipes and a change of clothes, nappy cream and formula milk / bottle (if required). Most of this information will be discussed during the settling in.

What are your fees?

Please give us a call to discuss your individual needs and requirements for an accurate cost of fees.

Do we have a garden / outdoor space?

Yes. We have a lovely secure garden / outdoor space and play area.

How often do they go outside?

The children go outside every day and are allowed outside as often as they like.

Are all meals provided?

Yes. We provide all meals and snacks and our in house qualified cook makes nutritious, delicious and fresh meals each and every day.
