For over fifteen years Precious Tots Day Nursery has been serving its community by delivering childcare of the highest quality, in a home from home setting, providing children the opportunity to play, learn and grow within a safe, secure and caring environment.

We are here to help parents raise happy and healthy children
We can assure parents that their children are in a safe and well cared for environment, providing the children with a fun and educational experience. We encourage parents to come and visit, and meet with staff and children. We offer placement from age 4 months up to five years

Infant
Our baby room is equipped to cater for children as young as 4 months to 2 years of age. We provide an environment that is welcoming, secure, bright and stimulating
Toddlers
Our children are encouraged to be independent and be of good behavior. This is fostered by our well-defined rules and our daily routines.
Preschool
At Precious Tots our children learn the letters of the alphabet phonetically. Our curriculum is reviewed continuously.

Circle time
Every morning and afternoon. It helps them transition from one part of the day to the next. Children are seated in a circle either on their chairs or the floor. Some of the activities in a circle time include singing, show and tell, cooperative games and a lot more! This structured activity allows children to practice social skills, follow the rules and routines, and develop a sense of community
Sensory play
Sensory play is a lot of fun. It also offers many benefits for child development, including: Helping children understand how their actions affect what's around them. Supporting brain development, enhancing memory, complex tasks and problem solving.
Learn through play
Learning through play is important and can help young children be ready for school, encourage their imagination and help them with literacy and numeracy skills. Through play, children learn about the world and themselves. They also learn skills they need for study, work and relationships such as: confidence
Daily observations
The EYFS requires that assessment begins with observation of the children. Observations help guide our decisions, inform our practices, and help us to develop a plan of action that best fits each child's individual needs and so more accurately plan next steps in their learning.
Freshly prepared meals
Our food is prepared fresh daily on the premises by our qualified cook. We ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic and follow the food safety standard at all time. We cater for all types of dietary requirements. Drinking water is available to the children throughout the day.
Outdoor Play
Outdoor experiences can provide an opportunity to explore, discover and appreciate the natural world, as well as be active, strengthen fine and gross motor movement skills, test physical limits and get messy. Our children will spend time outside daily (weather permitting)
